INSPIRE INCENTIVE RULES

  1. An Inspirator will not be eligible to attend the Incentive Conference if they: 

  1.  have had their INSPIRE agreement terminated or are in breach of their agreement (even if this happens after qualifying); 

  2.  are under the age of 21; 

  3. do not have a passport valid for at least six months AFTER travel date (i.e. valid until December 2026);

  4.  do not submit all of the necessary documentation by the specified date; 

  5.  do not sign an indemnity form; or, 

  6.  do not have proof of a required vaccination prior to travel, should this be required. 

  1. In the event of an error being made resulting in an Inspirator being advised that they will attend the Incentive Conference when they should not, CBC reserves the right to change the decision and not allow the Inspirator to attend the Incentive Conference. 

  2. It is the responsibility of the Inspirators who are in the running for the Incentive Conference to apply for passports and prepare visa documentation (if necessary) timeously. 

  3. If the destination requires a visa, all visas are to be applied for timeously, in advance of travel. 

  4. An Inspirator may not transfer, sell or exchange for cash the right to attend the Incentive Conference to anyone else. 

  5. Certain costs of the Incentive Conference will be covered by the company and some need to be covered by the attendees personally. Breakaways will not be allowed. 

  6. Pregnant attendees who are in their third trimester (more than 6 months pregnant) at the time of the Incentive Conference will not be allowed to travel and the qualifying Inspirator will be responsible for any cancellation fee where applicable. 

  7. If the traveller falls ill within a month of the travel date, a doctor’s letter stating permission to travel is required. Travel restrictions imposed by the airline or chosen travel partner will be applicable. 

  8. Travellers with a criminal record will not be allowed to travel. 

  9. Attendees must at all times comply with all INSPIRE requirements with regards to conduct and must not in any way constitute a nuisance or danger to any other person including other people attending the Incentive Conference. 

  10. Any tax obligations as a result of the Incentive Conference will be the sole responsibility of the Inspirator attending the Incentive Conference. 

  11. CBC Rewards (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change, at any time, the selected venue or destination as well as the dates of travel originally advertised. Once the air tickets have been issued, additional charges for any changes that are made by the attendee thereafter will be for the account of the Inspirator attending the Incentive Conference. 

  12. CBC Rewards (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for cancellations due to external factors beyond its control e.g. delays with the issue of passport or visa documentation, pandemic, natural disaster or weather phenomenon, strike action, government regulations or restrictions or delays related to embassies, airlines, etc. 

  13. Should a qualifying Inspirator be unable to attend the Incentive Conference for any reason whatsoever, no monetary payment in lieu thereof will be considered. 

  14. Should the Inspirator who qualified to attend, cancel after having accepted the award, cancellation costs as per the nominated travel agent’s cancellation schedule will be incurred and will be for the account of the Inspirator. 

  15. A qualifier may be disqualified from attending the Incentive Conference for any reason as determined by CBC Management at their sole discretion. 


The items below are included in the Incentive Conference: 

  • Airfares as confirmed by CBC Pty (Ltd); 

  • Domestic travel in South Africa will only be provided from the qualifiers province, which also applies to partners/spouses or where rights are transferred in accordance with these rules. The differential of cost will be for the guest’s account; 

  • For Namibian qualifiers the cost of travel from Windhoek to Johannesburg will be included. Should a qualifier and/or partner/spouse travel from an outlying area in Namibia to Windhoek, this cost will be for their own account. 

  • Return transfers to and from hotels as confirmed by CBC Rewards (Pty) Ltd; 

  • Accommodation and land arrangements as confirmed by CBC Rewards (Pty) Ltd; 

  • Selected meals and tours as specified in the itinerary; and, 

  • Travel and limited medical insurance. 


The items below are excluded from the Incentive Conference and are for the attendee’s own account: 

  • Obtaining a valid passport / travel documentation; 

  • Insurance of personal items; 

  • Excess on medical insurance (which is compulsory) or medical expenses incurred while on the Incentive Conference; 

  • Meals or drinks not specified in the itinerary; 

  • Room service, laundry, telephone, minibar or extra costs of any nature; 

  • Transport not specified in the itinerary; 

  • Spending money; and, 

  • Any other related costs.
